The insurer takes into account many factors when calculating your premium, and is usually based on objective and subjective risk factors.
Objective factors include information about your vehicle, such as the type, age and engine power as well as your no-claims class.
Subjective factors include your personal data, like your occupation and where you live.
If there is any change in any of these circumstances, inform your insurance company immediately. If you don’t, the insurer may increase your premium retrospectively or you may not be fully covered.
